The perfect addition to any wardrobe, and we mean that quite literally. The Lochcarron of Scotland Extra Fine Merino Stole is one of those rare accessories that works for absolutely everyone, in every season, for every occasion.
Crafted from 100% extra fine merino wool and made proudly at Lochcarron's mill in the heart of the Scottish Borders, it has a beautifully sheer surface and fluid drape that sets it apart from ordinary scarves and wraps. The fine pin fringe adds an elegant finishing touch. Wear it draped over the shoulders as a wrap, or knotted neatly as a scarf, either way it works beautifully for both menswear and womenswear.
At 70cm x 200cm (27" x 78") including pin fringe it's a generous and practical size, light enough to wear through spring and summer yet warm enough to take the chill off autumn and winter evenings.
The Dundee Rose tartan tells a fascinating story, the original Dundee tartan design recently reappeared in the Dundee Museum, its pattern simply labelled "DUNDEE" with a note on its origin, produced from a formula contained in the historic Wilson Pattern Book. In the Rose colourway it becomes something softer and more contemporary — a muted palette of pink and sage green with brown, blue, gold and white overchecks that works beautifully across seasons and outfits.
