Holy Isle Moorings, Arran' Framed Tile
from the Emma S Davis collection

'Holy Isle Moorings, Arran' Framed Tile
The tranquil, sheltered waters around Holy Isle, just off Arran's east coast, have long been a place of quiet retreat, a Buddhist sanctuary today, and a hermitage for the 6th-century monk St. Molaise centuries before that. This peaceful coastal scene captures the moored boats and stillness of the bay, with Arran's hills rising behind.
Emma S Davis, a Glasgow School of Art graduate whose work has been recognized with the RSW diploma, brings her rich sense of color and atmosphere to this piece. Printed on an 8x8" ceramic tile and set in a white woodgrain floater frame, it's ready to hang straight out of the box.
8x8" (20cm x 20cm) framed ceramic tile. Ready to hang. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
