Crafted from 100% lambswool and made proudly at Lochcarron's mill in the heart of the Scottish Borders, it has a warmth and softness that only genuine lambswool can deliver. At 180cm x 70cm (70" x 27") including fringing it drapes beautifully on any body.

The Scottish Borderland tartan carries a story as rich as the landscape that inspired it. Designed in 1996 by Alistair Buchan, the previous owner of Lochcarron of Scotland, it was born from the colors of the Border hills, the blues and greys of the River Tweed, the soft greens stretching from Peebles to the east coast. An olive-based tartan with royal blue, cream and mustard overchecks, it's a district tartan without a clan chief — home to legendary Border clans like the Elliots and the Scotts, whose relationships ranged from uneasy alliances to open, deadly feud.
