Gifts for Her

When I first moved to North America, I was looking for gift that was distinctly Scottish but couldn’t find something that was that bit different. In Scotland, I’d become accustomed to seeing beautiful Harris Tweed Handbags, stunning sterling silver jewelry, fabulous hand-blown accessories for whisky, and lots of fun quirky items to brighten your day. I wanted these amazing designers to have a place to showcase their creations here in North America, and Scottish Creations was born.

Our designers are typically small independent artists, often young Mums, others are family affairs – on is a father and daughter team – often working from their homes in some of the more remote parts of Scotland. One of our designers converted her garden shed into a fabulous studio where she hand paints tiles with Highland cows and sheep, Scottie and Westie Dogs in Scottish settings that always bring a smile to my face.

Each of our designers has their own story and we are delighted to introduce them to North America.  We hope you love them as much as we do.
