With its tiny stone harbor, red pantiled roofs, and lobster creels piled along the pier, Crail is quite possibly the most photographed village in the East Neuk, and one of the oldest, with a royal burgh history stretching back to the 12th century. On a summer's day, with fresh crab rolls from the harbor shack and boats resting on the low-tide sand, it's the stuff that holiday memories are made of.
Emma S Davis, a Glasgow School of Art graduate whose work has been recognized with the RSW diploma, brings her rich sense of colour and atmosphere to this nostalgic harbor scene.
