' I love to travel with my family around Scotland (if possible with my son Bodhi) and try to capture the mood and atmosphere she creates at any given turn.
“I was born and raised in the shipbuilding town of Greenock and I have been painting since the age of 10. Having studied Interior Design in Glasgow for 4 years, my background hopefully adds an interesting dimension to the artworks. I achieved national design awards during my studies and after graduating worked in the field of film & theatre set design, as a picture framer and as an art gallery manager. Eventually, I found myself interested solely in painting. Contemporary artworks vary from representational to atmospheric impressionistic (sometimes abstract) paintings and prints depicting Scotland’s landscapes and beyond. Influences while painting include travel, film and music." - Kevin.
